The Center for methodological support of the activity of internal affairs bodies

The center for methodological support of the activity of internal affairs bodies is an independent structural unit of the academy.

The activity of the center is aimed at developing scientific-practical proposals and recommendations for curbing crime by studying the criminogenic situation, analyzing the causes and conditions of violations, implementing them into practice, and providing methodological support of the activity of regional internal affairs bodies.

Objectives of the center:

to identify regions with a severe crime situation, to analyze the causes and conditions of crime, to develop and implement regional methodology for increasing the efficiency of activity;

to identify the types of crimes with a high numbers among general crimes, to analyze the causes and conditions of their commission, to develop and implement methods of combating these types of crimes;

to conduct scientific and practical research that serves to increase the efficiency of the activity of internal affairs bodies in the fight against crime;

to develop proposals for improving the law enforcement practice and legislation in the fight against crime;

to develop methodological manuals, analytical references, practical proposals and recommendations that serve to increase the effectiveness of activities of fighting crime, and support their use in the activity of internal affairs bodies.

The Center has established effective cooperation with structural units and regional divisions of the Ministry of internal affairs, other law enforcement agencies, research and educational institutions.
